This data set contains distributed shear apparatus experiments using semi-brittle analog, Carbopol Ultrez 21 at concentrations of 1, 2, and 3 wt.%. Measurements of pulling force and displacement show the slip behavior of the material ranges from stick-slip to creep for concentrations from high to low. Additionally, we provide particle image velocimetry outputs from PIVlab (a Matlab application) containing vectorized data of flow in our experiments. Original top-looking-down, time-lapse photographs are included where fracture morphology can be easily observed.
