Reproductive and genotype information for study subjects in this study of multiple paternity in garter snakes. Animals are wild-captured Thamnophis elegans (western terrestrial garter snakes), from Lassen County, California, USA. Animals were hand-captured, measured and bled. Pregnant females completed gestation in the laboratory, where reproductive success was noted.
