To study the kinetics of plastic strain induced phase transition, three experimental runs were performed on ultra pure plastically pre-deformed zirconium sample employing rotational diamond anvil cell (RDAC). Sample was prescribed to different complex compression/torsion paths as described in the associated publication. The x-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements were carried out in axial geometry. In order to get the radial profiles of pressure and phase fraction, the sample was scanned across culet diameter in steps of 10 microns in each compression/torsion condition and XRD image was recorded at each scanning position.
