Long Term Cover Cropping Effects on Weed Seedbanks

We utilized four long-term (10+ years) research trials in Iowa to quantify germinable weed seedbank densities and compositions in maize (Zea mays L.)-soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) rotations managed with and without the inclusion of a winter rye (Secale cereal L.) cover crop. This dataset includes the raw seedling counts, cover crop biomass productions at each trial, trial descriptions, and weed descriptions.
