This dataset contains the transmission electron microscopy imaging acquired in the liquid phase, video files acquired form the electron microscope screen, accompanied by the image analysis data, and with the x-ray reflectivity and electron density profiles along with the data analysis obtained form the air/liquid interface, of the aqueous solution containing poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)-capped gold nanoparticles in response to addition of NaCl solution to the system.

Funding

The research was performed at the Ames Laboratory, which is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy by Iowa State University under Contract No. DE-AC02-07CH11358.
